Chemical shampoos are absolutely avoided by no poo-ers, who instead use natural ingredients to cleanse their hair. Some people even take it a step further and just use water! So, what happens if you go a week, a month, or even a year without washing your hair? Here are a few things to look forward to.

Hydration of the hair
Most shampoos dry your hair – it’s what they’re designed to do! That’s why a decent conditioner, as well as hair masks to liven up your hair after all the washing, is a must for most of you ladies out there. When you stop using shampoo, your scalp will take over and do what it does best: naturally moisturise your hair.
